Biography
Mark Zabawa is a long term speaker on chronic pain and how it affects ourselves, our friends, and our loved ones. He also speaks on process of addiction and depression when in pain and in recovery.
Mark offers short talks that inform, inspire, empower and offer solutions to living with chronic pain one day at a time. He shares his personal story of coping with his chronic pain, depression and addiction for the past 26 years.
"There are some 80 million people in the United States that have chronic pain and some have found help while other remain isolated and prisoners of their pain."
Biography:
Mark Zabawa has a degree in Chemical Dependency Counseling and Human Services (A.A.S) and he has worked at Abbott Northwestern Hospital Chronic Pain Program as a patient monitor and counselor for 10 years.
He has lead numerous chronic pain groups, aftercare groups, and has corresponded with many people about their pain.

Mark also speaks on depression, mental illness and offers inspiration from his personal experience and others he has worked with. Topics include:
