New TV episode was released in January 2014 about the Allen Downs Project.  TPT created a wonderful segment for the MNoriginal program that aired on Public TV and is available online via youtube.

About the Allen Downs Exhibition

The  exhibition celebrated the career of artist and filmmaker Allen Downs and the Winter Quarter in Mexico Program he led at the University of Minnesota. A special concert by his daughter Lila Downs proceeded the opening event on March 10th, 2013


Exhibition Dates were:

Gallery hours are 11 am to 7 pm, Tuesday through Saturday

Public Reception: March 10th, 6 pm - 9 pm, free and open to the public
